KitchenTown

Bringing clarity to a complex business

CASE STUDY 06

POSITIONING, B2B COMMUNITY & EVENTS

MY ROLE
Director of Marketing

THE CHALLENGE:

KitchenTown offered many services to many audiences. Founders, corporates, and investors couldn't easily see what it did or why it mattered.

MY ROLE:

Led positioning, website, sales enablement, events, and partnerships while advising 100+ founders.

THE APPROACH:

Clarified the value proposition. A website refresh and audience-specific decks for founders, enterprises, investors, and partners.

Built the pipeline system. An Airtable and Zapier intake that qualified leads and routed them to the right team.

Made the community visible. Startup showcases, investor tastings, workshops, food summits, and sensory testing programs, building a marketing content library along the way.

Expanded the network. Partnerships with universities, incubators, and accelerators.

Bridged science and customers. Partnered with food scientists, researchers, and executives to scope projects and support business development across service lines.

THE RESULTS:

Flagship showcase with 25+ emerging food brands

100+ startups advised

[Inbound lead volume or response-time improvement from the intake system]

WHAT IT TAUGHT ME

This is where I learned to bring clarity to complex businesses. If the audience can't repeat it, it isn't positioning yet.
